AZ Home Living

AZ Home Living is an e-commerce website that helps customers and retailers visit and checkout easily. Beyond that, AZ Home website also help furniture designer can sell their design or download the 3D model of product on the website.

Role: UX/UI Designer

Responsibilities: Stakeholders interviews, research, information architecture, site map, wireframes, lo-hi fi prototype, interaction design, responsive website.

1. Functional design

Stakeholders interviews

I set up interviews with stakeholders and used technique represents answers to the questions Who? What? When? Why? And How?

After conducting research and surveys, I defined that we have to build a website that can satisfy the following 2 types of users:

Client needs

  • E-commerce website

  • Esthetic and artistic

  • Attractive interaction

  • Brand identify

  • Customized intuitive CMS

User needs

  • Buyer: easy to find and buy product

  • Retailer: finding product, creating combo and printing bill easily

  • Designer: easy to upload design, as well as download 3D model

2. Visual Design

Color definition

Base color has to be the color #F36D21 chosen by AZ Home brand guidelines. Lay on the base color we can create a color variation and combine with neutral color variation we can make a well-looking interface as well as matching brand color either.

Typography

As I mentioned above, the visual of this website must be stick to the Brand guidelines of AZ Home Living. So Qwenzy and Lexend typeface was used for all websites of AZ Group.

3. Interaction Design

To increase the user experience.I would like to implement some small animation on buttons changing state, that makes the website become more vivid.
